Encrypted AI context vault. Brief any AI assistant instantly. Local-first — your data never leaves your device. Briefed AI Context Vault Stop explaining yourself every time you start a new AI conversation. You switch between AI assistants constantly — one for writing, one for code, one for research. Every switch means starting over. Who you are. What you're working on. What you need. Briefed fixes that permanently. Build your vault once. Brief any AI in one click. Keep full control of your data. WHY BRIEFED EXISTS Every major AI assistant has a memory system. None of them built it for you. Most popular AI assistants automatically build a persistent profile from your conversations. They store your data, connect it to your other accounts and services, use it to improve their products, and make it difficult to opt out without losing your history. One AI assistant is different — it operates as a pure context window. Nothing persists between sessions. No profile is built. No data is extracted. And uniquely among major options, model training requires your explicit opt-in. You choose to share. Every other major assistant makes you choose to stop. The pattern is clear. Your context is their asset. Briefed changes the equation. Build your vault once. Share exactly what you choose, with whichever assistant you need, for as long as the session lasts. HOW IT WORKS STEP 1 — BUILD YOUR VAULT The fast way: copy one prompt into an AI you already talk to a lot. ChatGPT, Claude, whichever you use most and ask it what it knows about you. Paste the answer back into Briefed, and your vault builds itself: identity, background, priorities, people, memory. Review it, edit it, save it, done. Prefer to start from scratch? That works too. Fill in Identity, Background, Work, AI Instructions, and key People by hand, in about 10 minutes. Either way, your vault is encrypted and lives on your device. Nowhere else. STEP 2 — GENERATE YOUR BRIEFING Choose your depth: Essential — quick context, lightweight, perfect for simple tasks Standard — full picture including your background, current work, and AI instructions Complete — everything, including communication style and key relationships One click copies your structured briefing to clipboard. STEP 3 — PASTE INTO ANY AI ASSISTANT Open any AI assistant. Paste. Every session starts with a fully informed assistant. No re-explaining. No context tax. No starting from zero. That is it. Every time. In under 30 seconds. WHAT IS INSIDE YOUR VAULT IDENTITY AND BACKGROUND Who you are, your role, your organization, your location, your professional context. The foundation every AI assistant needs to work with you properly — without asking. WORK Your current focus, active projects, goals, and priorities. Keep this updated and every AI session starts exactly where you are, not where you were three months ago. AI INSTRUCTIONS LIBRARY 15 curated operating prompts covering decision-making, completeness, clarity, risk awareness, and concision — drawn from the practices of respected operators, founders, and thinkers. Browse the full library for free. Add any prompt to your vault with one click. They automatically appear in every briefing you generate, shaping how your assistant responds before the first message. MEMORY SECTION Every time you learn something important in a session: a positioning insight, a product decision, a strategic realization. Save it as a Memory entry. Use the built-in extraction prompt to pull key learnings from any long conversation and get a structured summary back. Search your memory library, filter by active or inactive, and toggle individual entries — or everything at once — so only what's relevant appears in each briefing. Copy any entry to your clipboard whenever you need it outside a briefing too. PEOPLE Your key contacts with role, organization, and notes. Build a relationship context that travels with you into every session. Toggle contact details on or off per briefing. Export your entire People section to a standard contacts CSV format compatible with major address book applications. INCOGNITO BRIEFING For sensitive work where privacy matters most. Incognito Briefing generates a two-part briefing designed for sessions you want to disappear: Part 1 — paste at the start. Gives the assistant your full context with explicit instructions to treat it as ground truth only for this conversation — not to save, retain, or apply anything to future sessions. Part 2 — paste at the end. A session cleanup prompt that instructs the assistant to purge everything shared and not retain any facts for future interactions. Contact details default to OFF in Incognito mode. The assistant gets what it needs. Nothing sticks. Full context in. Nothing remembered. BRIDGE TO ANOTHER AI AI conversations have context limits. When you hit one mid-session, you lose momentum — you have to start over in a new window, re-explain the situation, and pick up the thread from memory. Bridge solves this. Generate a structured handoff briefing that captures what you were working on, where the conversation stood, key decisions made, and exactly what you need next. Paste into any other AI assistant and continue without losing your thread. BRIEFED NEVER PHONES HOME No servers. No database. No accounts. No cloud sync. No data collection. Nothing to breach. Your vault is encrypted with AES-256-GCM, one of the strongest encryption standards available. The encryption key is derived from your password using PBKDF2 with a random salt and 310,000 iterations — making brute-force attacks computationally infeasible. The key never leaves your device. Your vault also locks itself automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity — so if you step away, it doesn't stay open and exposed. Your vault is stored in the browser's local extension storage. It never leaves your browser. We have no way to access your data because we never receive it. Your vault file is fully portable. If Briefed disappeared tomorrow, your file would still decrypt and work. You own it completely. IMPORTANT: There is no password recovery — by design. If you lose your password, your vault contents cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. Store your password somewhere safe. WHO BRIEFED IS FOR FOUNDERS AND OPERATORS You are context-switching constantly — between investors, team, product, and customers. Briefed keeps every AI session up to speed without burning 10 minutes of background each time. KNOWLEDGE WORKERS Consultants, analysts, researchers, writers — anyone whose AI sessions require substantial professional context. Stop re-typing your role, your client, your constraints. Start every session in motion. PRIVACY-CONSCIOUS PROFESSIONALS You care about what happens to your data. Briefed gives you a context layer that stays local. You decide what each assistant knows, each session. MULTI-AI POWER USERS You use different AI assistants for different tasks. Briefed is the constant across all of them — the one thing that knows who you are, regardless of which tool you open. STEALTH FOUNDERS You cannot put your pre-launch information in a cloud CRM. You cannot brief an AI about a deal you have not announced. Briefed is encrypted, local, and leaves no trail. WORKS WITH Briefed works with any AI assistant that reads text. If you can paste into it, Briefed works with it. Available on Chrome, Edge, and Brave. Desktop app for Safari and Firefox coming soon. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Does Briefed work if my AI assistant's built-in memory is turned off? Yes — that is the point. Briefed works regardless of whether your assistant's memory is on or off. For sensitive work where you want no retention, use Incognito Briefing: full context in, nothing remembered. Is my data really private? Yes, completely. Your vault is encrypted on your device and never leaves it. Briefed has no servers, no database, no accounts. If Briefed disappeared tomorrow, your vault file would still decrypt and work. We have no way to access your data because we never receive it. What if I forget my password? There is no password recovery — by design. Your vault is encrypted and the key is derived from your password. We never receive it, store it, or have any way to recover it. Do not lose your password. Can I use Briefed across different AI tools? Yes. That is the core use case. One vault, any assistant. Briefed travels with you between all of them. Do I have to fill in my vault by hand?
