N5 is finished; the higher levels hold the more common and useful characters from each, and the set is still growing. If you need exhaustive coverage of N1, this isn't that tool yet. If you want a steady drip of useful kanji while you browse, it does that well. ABOUT THE AUDIO Words and sentences play pre-generated audio built from the correct kana reading, so you don't get the wrong-reading problem common to extensions that rely purely on browser speech. Some audio still falls back to your browser's built-in voice. It's machine-generated, so it's occasionally a little off. Good enough to check how something is read; not a substitute for a native speaker. ABOUT THE CONTENT Kanji Tab is a study aid, not a dictionary. The JLPT does not publish official kanji lists, so level groupings follow commonly used community groupings and may differ from other sources. Readings, meanings and example sentences are compiled with care but may contain errors. There's a feedback link in the settings panel. Corrections are genuinely welcome and do get fixed. PRIVACY No accounts, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics. Your settings and memorized list stay in your browser. The only thing the extension fetches is pronunciation audio, and only when you press play.
