WHAT IT CATCHES • Multiple H1 elements — every extra H1 is numbered so you can find them all • Missing H1 — the page has no top-level heading at all • Skipped heading levels — an H2 jumping to an H4, with the missing level named • Empty headings — no text, no image alt, no aria-label • Hidden headings — display:none, visibility:hidden, opacity:0, the hidden attribute, aria-hidden, zero size, screen-reader clipping, off-screen text-indent, or a hidden parent element It also surfaces headings whose text only exists in an image alt or an aria-label, div and span elements using role="heading", and a running count of H1 through H6.
