Run a football draft with friends: budgets, live bidding, squads, chemistry, analytics and bring-your-own-key AI coaching. Gaffer turns EA's public player ratings page into a draft room for you and your friends. Give everyone a budget, then take turns nominating players and bidding against each other in real time. The player on the block, the standing bid, whose turn it is and what everyone has left to spend all update live on every screen. When someone's money runs out, the after-market round lets each person pick freely in turn, first come first served. WHAT YOU GET • Live bidding — nominate a player, everyone bids, the last bidder signs them. Everything updates on everyone's screen as it happens. • Budgets that add up — a running total next to every player, so you always know what you can afford before you bid. • Squads and formations — arrange your signings on the pitch across a dozen formations, or let Gaffer fill the sheet from your players' ratings. • Chemistry — see how well your XI actually fits together by club and nation. • Trading — swap players between squads with both budgets settled correctly. • Analytics — compare squads by rating, position, nation, club and spend. • Tournaments — build fixtures between your friends' squads and track results. • Saved drafts — every bidding session is kept by date, so you can start a fresh one and still look back at the teams you built before. • AI coaching (optional) — add your own API key from an AI provider you already use and ask for advice on your squad. It stays off until you add a key. HOW FRIENDS CONNECT No accounts and no sign-up. On first run you pick a name and a colour and get a short id like GAF-7K2P. Tell a friend that id, they ask to join, you accept. That is the whole thing. PRIVACY No analytics, no tracking, no ads, nothing sold. Your squads live in your own browser.
