Save and restore entire browsing sessions. Organise your tabs by project or task, and pick up right where you left off. Workspaces brings project-based tab management to Chrome. Group the tabs for a piece of work into a named workspace, close the window, and restore the whole session later exactly as you left it. FEATURES • Save any window as a workspace — capture the tabs you already have open, or start a fresh one • Restore a full session in one click; if the workspace is already open, its window is focused instead • Continuous auto-save — every tab you add, close, move, pin or navigate is saved automatically, so nothing is ever lost • Tab groups and pinned tabs are preserved, including group names and colours • Open workspaces are highlighted in bold in the list • Rename, recolour and delete workspaces from the popup • Sync across computers when you are signed in to Chrome with sync enabled • Optional bookmark mirror — keep a read-only copy of each workspace under Other bookmarks • Import and export all workspaces as a JSON file for backup • Dark mode support PRIVACY Workspaces makes no network requests. There is no analytics, no tracking and no account. Your tab data is stored locally in Chrome and, if you have sync enabled, in your own Google account's extension sync storage — it is never sent anywhere else. Free, ad-free and open to inspect.
