Shows which games in a Humble Bundle you already own on Steam. Humble Bundle Owned Overlay helps you see which games in a Humble Bundle or Humble Choice lineup you already own on Steam before you buy or claim. After setup, open a supported Humble page and the extension will: • Add a green “Owned” badge to games already in your Steam library • Show a simple “X / Y games owned” counter near the bundle or Choice section • Work on Humble game bundle pages and supported Humble Choice pages • Match games by normalised title to reduce duplicate or edition-name issues • Store your fetched Steam game list locally in Chrome How it works 1. Open the extension options page. 2. Enter your Steam Web API key and SteamID64. 3. Click “Fetch library”. 4. Visit a supported Humble Bundle or Humble Choice page. 5. Games you already own on Steam are marked automatically. The extension uses the Steam Web API to fetch your owned games. Your Steam profile and game details must be public for Steam to return your library. Privacy and security The Steam API key is used only when you manually refresh your library. It is not saved by the extension. The extension clears the API key field after the fetch attempt. Stored locally: • SteamID64 • Cached Steam owned-games list • Last refresh time Not collected: • No analytics • No advertising tracking • No remote code • No account system • No sale, sharing, or transfer of user data Host permissions are limited to Humble Bundle pages and the Steam Web API. Limitations This extension matches games by title, so unusual naming, remasters, regional titles, DLC, software bundles, book bundles, or renamed products may not always match perfectly. It is intended as a helpful overlay, not a guaranteed ownership/audit tool. This is an independent project and is not affiliated with Humble Bundle, Steam, Valve, or Humble Games.
