Description
Adds duration, progress, speed controls, skip buttons, and shortcuts to Instagram videos. IG Reels Toolkit adds better desktop controls for Instagram Reels and videos, making it easier to watch, review, and navigate videos directly in Chrome. Instagram’s desktop video player is useful, but it does not always give users the level of control they expect when watching Reels, reviewing short-form content, or checking video length. IG Reels Toolkit adds a clean floating control panel that gives you quick access to exact video duration, current progress, playback speed, mute controls, skip buttons, keyboard shortcuts, and a seekable progress bar. With IG Reels Toolkit, you can quickly see how long an Instagram Reel is, jump forward or backward, drag through the video using a progress bar, change playback speed, mute or unmute videos, copy the current Reel link, and move the control panel anywhere on the page. Key features: • See exact Instagram Reel and video duration • View current progress in mm:ss format • Use a seekable progress bar to jump through videos • Skip backward or forward by a set number of seconds • Control playback speed from the floating panel • Mute and unmute Instagram videos more easily • Use keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation • Drag the floating panel anywhere on the page • Collapse or expand the toolkit when needed • Copy the current Instagram Reel or video link • Customize overlay, controls, shortcuts, and skip duration from the popup IG Reels Toolkit is useful for creators, researchers, marketers, social media managers, content reviewers, students, and anyone who watches Instagram Reels on desktop and wants more control over video playback. It can help when you are reviewing short-form content, checking video length, studying hooks, collecting examples, analyzing social media content, or simply watching Instagram videos with better controls. Keyboard shortcuts: J = skip backward L = skip forward K = play or pause M = mute or unmute [ = slower playback ] = faster playback The floating panel is draggable, so you can place it wherever it feels comfortable. You can also collapse it when you only want to see the video timer without the full controls. IG Reels Toolkit is designed to be lightweight and focused on one clear purpose: improving the Instagram desktop video and Reels viewing experience. Privacy-friendly by design: IG Reels Toolkit does not collect, sell, or transmit personal information. It does not track your browsing history, read your messages, collect your Instagram login details, or send your Instagram data to external servers. The extension reads basic video information locally in your browser, such as video duration, current playback time, playback speed, and mute status, only so it can display and control the video you are watching. Your preferences, such as panel position, shortcut settings, skip duration, collapsed state, and mute preference, are saved using Chrome storage so the extension can remember your settings. IG Reels Toolkit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of its respective owner.
