Translate and learn on hover: instant single-word translation, 31 languages, audio playback and review flashcards. WebHoverTranslate translates text directly on web pages without copying and pasting or opening a separate translator. Double-click a word to activate translation, then hover over words or select a sentence or paragraph. The translation appears in a discreet card next to the text. Main features: • word translation on hover; • translation of selected sentences and paragraphs; • 31 languages available in the interface; • automatic or manual source-language selection; • audio playback when a suitable voice is available in Chrome or the operating system; • local translation history; • flashcards for vocabulary review; • keyboard shortcuts and context menu; • translation-model status and download guidance. Privacy: Translation uses Chrome's built-in Translator capabilities. Translated text is not sent to a translation server operated by the developer. History and flashcards are stored locally on the device. Language preferences may be synchronized by Chrome according to the browser's sync settings. Chrome 138 or later is required.
