Bring open tabs together by website. Find pages, switch tabs, and review duplicates—all on your device. Orbit brings open Chrome tabs from your browser windows into one clear, website-based overview. Find the page you need and spend less time searching through tabs. Privacy at a glance: Orbit reads current tab titles, URLs, recent-access information, and tab/window state only to organize tabs on your device. Tab information stays in the overview's memory and is not sent to the developer or third-party services. Only language and appearance preferences are saved locally. See each website's icon, name, tab count, and full page list without expanding groups. Search by page title, website name, or URL, then click a result to return to the original tab and window. Sort websites by tab count, recent activity, or name. Review duplicate URLs and choose which eligible copies to close. Bulk cleanup keeps pinned, active, audio-playing, and loading tabs, and checks their state again before closing. Individual tabs can also be closed directly. Pages with the same URL can contain different unsaved work; check before closing. The overview updates as tabs change. Refresh manually or retry a failed refresh; the previous successful list remains available if a refresh fails. Refresh reads tabs on this device—it is not cloud sync. Supports English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. A supported browser language is selected automatically, with English as the fallback. Manual language choices are remembered. Light and dark appearance follow the browser by default; the sun/moon button lets you switch and save your choice locally. Permissions and data The tabs permission supports reading current tab information for the overview, search, and duplicate detection. The favicon permission displays website icons through Chrome's own interface, not a third-party icon service. Scripts, styles, and translations are bundled; no remotely hosted code is loaded. Orbit does not read page bodies, form inputs, passwords, cookies, or the full browsing-history database. It has no account, backend, advertising, analytics, or telemetry service. Searches and selections are not persistently saved. After installing, pin Orbit from Chrome's Extensions menu and click its icon to open the overview. Orbit is open source under the MIT license.
