This app enables mouse dragging and right-clicking on sites where these functions are disabled. Unlock Your Web Browsing Experience: Enable Right Click for Mouse In the modern digital era, the internet serves as the world’s most extensive library, a primary source of information for students, researchers, developers, and casual readers alike. However, many websites implement restrictive measures that hinder the user experience. You may have encountered pages where right-clicking is disabled, text selection is blocked, or copy-pasting is forbidden. These "content protection" scripts often do more to frustrate legitimate users than they do to protect intellectual property. Enter "Enable Right Click for Mouse"—a powerful, lightweight, and intuitive Chrome extension designed to restore your digital freedom and put you back in control of your browser. ### The Ultimate Solution for Web Restrictions "Enable Right Click for Mouse" is more than just a simple script toggle; it is a comprehensive toolkit engineered to bypass almost any form of web-based restriction. Whether a site uses JavaScript to block context menus or CSS to prevent text selection, this extension identifies and neutralizes those barriers instantly. By installing this tool, you ensure that the web remains an open platform for information gathering and personal productivity. ### Core Features at Your Fingertips 1. Unrestricted Right-Click Access: The primary function of this extension is to re-enable the standard browser context menu. This allows you to use essential browser features like "Save Image As," "Search Google for Selection," "Inspect Element," and various third-party extensions that rely on the right-click menu. 2. Seamless Text Selection and Copying: Have you ever tried to highlight a quote or a snippet of code only to find that the website has disabled selection? Our extension forcefully overrides "user-select: none" and other CSS/JavaScript blocks, allowing you to highlight and copy text as you would on any standard webpage. 3. Advanced Event Interception: The extension works by intercepting and stopping the propagation of restrictive events. It effectively cancels commands like 'oncontextmenu', 'onselectstart', 'ondragstart', and 'oncopy'. This deep-level integration ensures that even sophisticated protection scripts are bypassed. 4. Dual Operational Modes: To cater to different user preferences, "Enable Right Click for Mouse" offers two distinct modes: - Manual Mode: Ideal for users who want complete control. In this mode, the extension remains dormant until you specifically activate it for a page using the popup button or the Alt+1 hotkey. - Auto Mode: For those who want a set-it-and-forget-it experience. Once enabled, the extension automatically lifts restrictions on every site you visit, ensuring a consistently free browsing experience. 5. Intelligent Whitelisting and Exclusions: We recognize that some websites—like Google Docs, Slack, or complex web applications—rely on custom context menus for their core functionality. The extension includes a pre-built list of excluded sites to prevent interference with these applications. Furthermore, users can maintain their own personal whitelist, allowing them to disable the extension on specific domains with a single click. 6. Comprehensive Iframe Support: Many modern websites use iframes to embed content from other sources. While other extensions often fail to reach inside these frames, "Enable Right Click for Mouse" recursively scans and applies its logic to all frames within a page, providing a truly unified experience. ### Enhanced Productivity with Built-in Utilities Beyond its core unlocking capabilities, this extension includes thoughtful features designed for content creators and researchers. A built-in string length and character counter is accessible directly from the popup. This allows you to quickly paste a snippet of text and see its character count (both with and without spaces), making it an invaluable tool for social media managers, SEO specialists, and writers. ### Built on Modern Standards (Manifest V3) Safety and performance are our top priorities. "Enable Right Click for Mouse" is built using the latest Chrome Extension Manifest V3 architecture. This ensures that the extension is more secure, uses fewer system resources, and is fully compatible with the future of the Chrome browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Your browsing history remains private, and the extension only interacts with the pages you visit to provide its intended functionality. ### Why Choose "Enable Right Click for Mouse"? There are several tools available that claim to enable right-clicking, but few offer the reliability and feature set found here. Many alternatives are outdated, slowing down your browser or failing on modern, complex websites. Our extension is actively maintained, ensuring it stays ahead of new protection techniques. The user interface is clean, modern, and follows Material Design principles, making it a joy to use. ### Perfect for Every User - Researchers & Students: Effortlessly collect citations, quotes, and data from academic journals and news sites that attempt to block selection. - Developers: Access the "Inspect" tool on pages that try to hide their source code or prevent right-clicking on specific elements. - Designers: Easily save reference images and layout ideas from portfolio sites. - Casual Users: Enjoy the web as it was meant to be—unrestricted and user-friendly. ### Conclusion Don’t let restrictive web scripts dictate how you interact with the internet.
