Close inactive tabs in the current window while keeping the current, audible, and pinned tabs. ClearTabs is a small Chrome extension for quickly cleaning up tab clutter in the current window. Click the toolbar icon or use the right-click menu to close inactive tabs. ClearTabs keeps the tab you are using, tabs that Chrome marks as audible, and pinned tabs. Tabs in other Chrome windows are left alone. ClearTabs is intentionally simple: - No host permissions - No page-content access - No analytics - No remote code - No data collection Media protection uses Chrome's audible tab signal, which is the same signal behind Chrome's speaker indicator.
