Proxy Switcher & Manager - unblockAnyThing (SOCKS5/HTTP)

Description

Proxy switcher & manager for your own SOCKS5, SOCKS4, HTTP & HTTPS proxies. Switch in one click. Local-only. 30-day free trial. unblockAnyThing is a fast, private proxy switcher and proxy manager for Chrome. Bring your own proxy server — SOCKS5, SOCKS4, HTTP, or HTTPS — save it as a profile, and switch it on or off in one click. Built on Manifest V3, unblockAnyThing is a modern, actively maintained proxy extension and a clean alternative to older proxy switchers and configurators that are no longer updated. unblockAnyThing replaces Chrome's limited, buried proxy settings with a simple switcher — without touching your privacy. Everything stays on your device: it never routes, hosts, logs, or even sees your traffic. It just tells Chrome to use the proxy you provide, through the official chrome.proxy API. No account and no sign-up, ever. ★ NEW IN 2.0 • Move over from SwitchyOmega — import an OmegaOptions.bak and your proxies, auto-switch rules and bypass list come across in one step. • Per-site, per-proxy routing — each auto-switch rule can use a different proxy, so a US site can go through a US proxy while a JP site uses a JP one, at the same time. • WebRTC leak protection — Chrome can reveal your real IP over WebRTC even while a proxy is on. One switch forces WebRTC through the proxy or blocks it. • Automatic health check — when you switch the proxy on, unblockAnyThing quietly confirms traffic really flows through it and tells you if nothing gets through, so a dead proxy can never sit there looking active. • Fewer permissions, not more — site access is now optional and off by default. It is requested only if you save a proxy that needs a login, and you can revoke it at any time. • Guided walkthrough — an interactive tour points at each control in place and explains when you would actually use it. Skippable, and replayable whenever you like. ★ WHAT YOU CAN DO • One-click proxy switcher — turn your proxy on/off from the toolbar or a keyboard shortcut, with an on/off badge on the icon. • Unlimited proxy profiles — create, name, edit, duplicate, and delete as many proxies as you want, then pick the active one. • Works with your provider — SOCKS5, SOCKS4, HTTP, and HTTPS proxy servers from any standard proxy provider. • Paste any format — scheme://user:pass@host:port, host:port:user:pass, or a Shadowsocks ss:// link. unblockAnyThing parses and validates it automatically, with clear errors. Paste a whole list to add many at once. • Smart protocol detection — not sure if it's HTTP or SOCKS? unblockAnyThing probes the proxy and sets the correct scheme for you. • Test proxy — check reachability and latency and see your current exit IP and country. • Per-site control — a bypass list for sites that should always go direct, plus PAC-style auto-switch rules with a whitelist or blacklist default. • Authenticated proxies — supplies your saved proxy username and password (HTTP/HTTPS) when the proxy asks for it. • Import & export your proxy profiles as JSON for backup or moving to a new machine. • Calm, minimal interface with full keyboard accessibility. ★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your proxy profiles, credentials, and settings are stored only in chrome.storage.local on your computer. unblockAnyThing has no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no ads and no affiliate links, and it never sees your browsing. Exactly two things ever leave your browser, both only when you act: 1. "Test proxy" fetches your exit IP from an IP-echo endpoint, through your own proxy. You can point this at any endpoint you prefer. 2. Activating a license sends only that license key to our payment provider, Dodo Payments, to confirm it is valid. It is re-checked about once a week. Nothing else is ever transmitted. No browsing data, no page content, no request headers. ★ PRICING — 30-DAY FREE TRIAL, THEN A ONE-TIME LICENSE Every feature is unlocked free for 30 days. There is no subscription and no account. Free forever, with no time limit: • Saving, editing and organising unlimited proxy profiles • Test proxy, exit-IP check and automatic protocol detection • The bypass list and off-mode behaviour Pro, a single one-time payment (no recurring charge): • One-click switching and the keyboard shortcut • Auto-switch rules and per-rule multi-proxy routing • WebRTC leak protection • SwitchyOmega import • Backup and restore If you already used unblockAnyThing while it was free, open Settings — there is a thank-you discount waiting for you. ★ GOOD TO KNOW Chrome itself cannot authenticate SOCKS proxies (a browser limitation), so for a proxy with a username and password use the HTTP/HTTPS endpoint — unblockAnyThing warns you and offers a one-click switch. SOCKS works great with IP-whitelist authentication. unblockAnyThing does not provide proxy servers and is not a VPN. You bring your own proxy; this extension is the switcher. ★ PERFECT FOR Developers and QA, web scraping and automation, testing geo-specific content, privacy-conscious browsing, and anyone who already has a proxy and wants the simplest way to use it in Chrome. Bring your own proxy. Toggle it on. Stay private.
