Focus-friendly reading tools for clearer text, guided emphasis, working memory, and pacing on webpages. ReadTune is a reading assistant for people who find long webpages hard to get through. It reshapes the page you are already reading from a Chrome side panel. Turn it on when you want it, adjust the controls live, and turn it off to restore the page. READING TOOLS • Text clarity controls for font size, line height, letter spacing, word spacing, and reading width. • Guided emphasis that adds a configurable accent to the first part of words. • A focus band or reading window that keeps attention on a smaller part of the page. • Optional colour, paragraph, alignment, auto-scroll, and word-pacing controls. • Modes and optional support profiles for quickly applying a group of settings. PRIVACY ReadTune processes webpage text locally to apply the reading tools. That text may include personal communications visible on a supported webpage. ReadTune does not retain or transmit those communications, page content, URLs, clicks, scrolling, or reading activity, and it includes no analytics, advertising, tracking pixel, telemetry, or error-reporting SDK. Reading settings are saved in Chrome storage and may sync through the user's Google account when Chrome Sync is enabled. This includes an optional condition/accessibility-labeled support-profile choice. Remote dictionary lookup is unavailable in 0.4.8. The release contains no dictionary endpoint control or dictionary network request, so selected words are not transmitted. ACCOUNTS AND PRO ACCESS The free reading tools work without an account. This extension build starts no payment flow. ReadTune Pro access is sold separately on the ReadTune website through Square. Pro owners may optionally sign in through ReadTune's Supabase service to restore an entitlement. Pro tools otherwise stay locked. ReadTune is a reading aid.
