Description
Auto-translate chat messages on WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord — no copy-paste, your API keys stay yours. Read every message in your language. Write every reply in theirs. The translation appears under each incoming message as it arrives, and what you type is translated the moment you hit Send. Same Enter key, same Send button. No copy-pasting, no second window, no switching tabs. ⚡ WHAT IT DOES • Translates incoming messages inline, without hiding the original — the same way in a group chat as in a client inbox • Translates your replies on send — you type your language, they read theirs • 12 languages, detected per writing system so nothing gets translated twice • 7 built-in styles — business, technical, casual, legal, medical and more — so the tone fits the conversation. Or write your own. • Caches what it has already translated, so scrolling back through a thread is instant and costs nothing 🌐 WHERE IT WORKS Eight messaging sites: mainstream chat apps, and the client inboxes on major freelance marketplaces. Two of the eight are still in beta. To see exactly which ones, open the extension's settings and select the Platforms tab. Every site is listed there with its address, and each has its own on/off switch, so you can run the extension on some and not others. The screenshots on this page show that tab. It runs on those messaging pages and nowhere else — never on your bank, your email, or any other site. 🤖 YOUR KEY, YOUR ENGINE Six cloud translation services to pick from, and for the AI ones you choose the model too. The Cloud API tab in settings lists every service and every model, each with an estimated monthly cost beside it, so you can compare before you commit to one. Prefer to keep everything on your own machine? Install Ollama and translate offline: free, and no message ever leaves your computer. Enable both and the local model goes first, with the cloud as a silent backup when it isn't running. 💸 NO SUBSCRIPTION You bring your own API key and pay that service directly, at their rates, with nothing added. Roughly $0.14 a month for someone translating 200 messages a day. The estimated cost sits beside every model when you pick one, so you can see the trade-off before you commit. 🔒 PRIVACY • No analytics, no telemetry, no server of ours in between • Your API key stays in your browser's encrypted storage • Message text goes only to the service you chose, with your own key • Translate locally and it goes nowhere at all Interface in Vietnamese or English, matched to your browser on install and switchable from the popup. 📋 PERMISSIONS One Chrome permission — storage, for your settings. Seven host permissions: the six translation services, plus your own machine. Nothing is contacted until you actually translate something. — Built with care by JH AI Studio.
