Download Yahoo Finance historical stock data to CSV or Excel — no programming knowledge, no API key required, work as before. The historical data Download button on Yahoo Finance is no longer available for most users. If your Excel models depended on it, your workflow is broken. Yahoo Finance to Excel & CSV Data Export Tool restores exactly that workflow — and goes further. Your old workflow: Yahoo Finance page → click Download → get CSV → open in Excel Your workflow with this extension: Yahoo Finance page → click extension → choose settings → download CSV → open in Excel One extra step. Zero new skills required. No programming, no API keys, no new websites to learn. And if you track multiple tickers, you can go even further: organize your stocks into groups (e.g. "Tech Watchlist", "Dividend Portfolio"), and download an entire group at once as a ZIP — one file per ticker. Define as many groups as you need. ────────────────────────────────────────────────── FULL OHLCV HISTORY ────────────────────────────────────────────────── • Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Adj Close, Volume • Dividends and stock splits (optional toggle) • Time presets: 1W · 2W · 1M · 3M · 6M · YTD · 1Y · 2Y · 5Y · Max • Custom date range: pick any start and end date • Frequencies: Daily · Weekly · Monthly • Live 10-row preview before you download ────────────────────────────────────────────────── EXPORT THE WAY YOU WANT ────────────────────────────────────────────────── • Download CSV — opens directly in Excel, no conversion • Download Excel (.xlsx) — formatted and ready • Copy to Clipboard — paste straight into any spreadsheet • Choose which columns to include and reorder them by drag-and-drop ────────────────────────────────────────────────── GROUP DOWNLOAD FOR MULTIPLE TICKERS ────────────────────────────────────────────────── Managing a portfolio of 20, 30, or 50 stocks? Create a group, add your tickers, and download them all at once as a ZIP file — one CSV or Excel file per ticker. No more clicking through each one individually. Works for: stocks · ETFs · indices · crypto · any ticker on Yahoo Finance. ────────────────────────────────────────────────── HOW IT WORKS ────────────────────────────────────────────────── The extension calls Yahoo Finance's own chart API directly from your browser — using the same data Yahoo already displays on its chart pages. No third-party data provider. No scraping. The data is exactly what Yahoo shows you. ────────────────────────────────────────────────── WHO IT'S FOR ────────────────────────────────────────────────── Built for Excel-based retail investors and systematic traders who: → Build trading signals, backtests, or portfolio trackers in Excel → Need OHLC data for multiple tickers on a regular basis → Don't have programming knowledge and don't want to learn it → Want a simple, reliable way to get historical data into Excel If you already have a Yahoo Finance subscription, this saves you from clicking through every single ticker one by one. ────────────────────────────────────────────────── PRIVACY ────────────────────────────────────────────────── The extension works without creating an account. If you sign in for the paid plan, your email is used only for authentication. See our full privacy policy for details.
