Detect and preview HLS and DASH media from your browser tabs MediaTools detects HLS (.m3u8) and DASH (.mpd) media loaded by browser tabs and displays the results directly in the extension popup. With MediaTools, you can: • View detected streams for the current tab • Preview supported HLS and DASH media • See available quality variants • Copy a manifest URL • Remove individual results or clear the list An optional button lets you open a selected stream on the MediaTools website for additional browser-based media operations. Stream detection, listing, preview, and URL copying are available directly in the extension and do not depend on the website. MediaTools detects unencrypted HLS and DASH streams requested by a webpage. It is not designed to detect DRM-protected content, regular MP4 files, `blob:` URLs, or media opened on restricted browser pages. Detected URLs and collection settings are kept only for the current browser session. The extension does not block, redirect, or modify web traffic.
