A social layer for every webpage — save notes, share thoughts, and discuss pages. PageThread adds page-linked notes and discussions to Chrome’s side panel. No account is required to read public notes or publish a public note about the page you are viewing. Anonymous authors receive a local Guest name and can manage their own public notes. Google sign-in is optional. It enables private notes, note search, voting, and replying to public discussions. What you can do - Write public notes linked to the current HTTP or HTTPS page. - Read public notes from other PageThread users. - Manage your own public notes. - Sign in to create private notes. - Sign in to search your notes by content, title, or domain. - Sign in to vote and reply to public notes. - Pin important notes. - Use light or dark mode based on your system preference. PageThread reads the active tab URL, title, and favicon to associate notes with the current page. It does not read webpage content or inject scripts into websites. Notes and account data are stored in the PageThread Supabase backend. Anonymous users receive a temporary Supabase identity; Google sign-in is optional.
