WHY CHECKMATE IS DIFFERENT ★ Real sources, never invented ones Most AI tools will happily fabricate a citation that looks convincing and leads nowhere. CheckMate takes its sources from Google Search results directly — the AI is never asked to produce a URL, so it cannot invent one. If a claim turns up no supporting sources at all, CheckMate says so and refuses to give you a confident verdict. ★ Verdicts with nuance Real claims are rarely simply true or false.
