DevTools panel: search response bodies and live WebSocket frames, copy as cURL, export captured WS traffic as AsyncAPI 3.0. Chrome's Network panel filters by URL. NetScope searches what actually came back. NetScope adds a native DevTools panel that indexes everything the page transfers — response bodies, request bodies, headers on both sides, and every live WebSocket frame — and makes all of it searchable in one place. SEARCH INSIDE RESPONSES Type a value, an ID, or an error string and instantly see which request returned it. Plain text or regex, case toggle, and per-field scopes (url, request headers, request body, response headers, response body, WebSocket frames) so you can search exactly where you mean. "Found in" chips on every row show where each hit lives, matches are highlighted in the detail pane, and Enter jumps to the next matching request. WEBSOCKETS AS FIRST-CLASS CITIZENS Every sent and received frame is captured live, tagged by direction, timestamped, and fully searchable — including sockets that opened before you ever looked at the panel. Inspect individual frames with pretty-printed JSON and match highlighting. COPY AS CURL Reproduce any captured HTTP request outside the browser in one click — method, headers and body included, properly shell-escaped. For WebSockets, get ready-made websocat and wscat commands plus a cURL handshake probe. EXPORT ASYNCAPI 3.0 Turn captured WebSocket traffic into an AsyncAPI 3.0 skeleton: servers, one channel per socket, send/receive operations, and real captured payloads embedded as message examples. Document an undocumented realtime API in seconds. BUILT LIKE DEVTOOLS No popup, no separate window. NetScope is a DevTools panel that follows your DevTools theme (dark and light), with keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl/Cmd+F to search, Enter for next match, Esc to close), Preserve log across navigations, and a resource-type filter. PRIVACY Everything stays on your machine. NetScope makes no network requests of its own, sends nothing anywhere, and stores nothing. Captured traffic lives in memory for the current DevTools session only. NOTES - HTTP traffic is captured while DevTools is open (a Chrome platform limit, same as the built-in HAR). - Reload the page once after installing so the WebSocket hook is in place before your app connects. - Sockets opened inside Web Workers are not captured. - Generated cURL commands include your cookies and auth headers verbatim — treat them as secrets. Open source and lightweight: no frameworks, no analytics, no background activity beyond routing WebSocket frames to your DevTools.
