It can use voices available on your device or an Online TTS option when local voices are not available. 1. What SubVoice Does SubVoice detects the subtitle text currently displayed on a YouTube video and converts it into speech. This is useful when you want to listen to subtitles instead of reading them on screen. 2. Requirements To use SubVoice, you need: - Google Chrome, Chromium-based browser, or Firefox - An internet connection if you use Online TTS - A YouTube video with subtitles or captions available - Captions enabled on the YouTube video 3. How to Install on Chrome 1. Open Chrome. 2. Go to chrome://extensions 3. Turn on Developer mode. 4. Click Load unpacked. 5. Select the Chrome extension folder. 6. Open YouTube and play a video with subtitles. 7. Click the SubVoice icon and enable subtitle reading.
