Protect, search, archive, restore, and back up Chromium tabs in a compact window tree. Branchkeeper gives large Chrome and Chromium sessions a calm, compact place to live. See every open window and tab in one collapsible tree. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space to jump directly to search, move through results with the arrow keys, and activate the tab you need without remembering which window it was in. Tabs and complete browser windows closed through Branchkeeper are saved before the browser closes them. Reopen one tab or a complete saved window later. Rename windows, preserve pinned tabs, and collapse the parts of the tree you do not need right now. Saved windows can be moved to Trash and restored with Undo. Emptying Trash is a separate confirmed action. Export the complete Vault as a readable JSON backup and import it later without replacing the current session.
