Clones buttons from any page into a floating panel. Unleash Your Productivity: Clone Actions, Form Choices, and Workflow Steps! Tired of endlessly scrolling and navigating to repeat the same actions on your favorite websites? FloatingActions is a Chrome extension designed to streamline repetitive workflows by letting you clone buttons, links, clickable elements, and common form controls into a convenient, customizable panel. Whether you need a floating, draggable window that is always within reach or a neatly integrated side panel, FloatingActions puts your most-used actions and choices right where you need them. Save frequent filters, replay form selections, trigger common page actions, and reduce repetitive navigation. KEY FEATURES: Advanced Per-Domain Settings: Your cloned actions, form choices, panel preferences, workflow shortcuts, and keyboard assignments are automatically saved for each specific website. Create unique, tailored workflows for every site you visit without conflicts. Dual Panel Modes: Choose between a Floating Window, which can be dragged anywhere on the screen, or a Side Panel that integrates directly into the browser interface. One-Click Action Cloning: Enter Selection Mode, click a button, link, or clickable element on the page, and a shortcut is instantly added to your panel. Form Control Cloning: Save and replay common form states, including select dropdowns, multiple selections, checkboxes, radio options, text-like inputs, and text areas. This is useful for recurring filters, search forms, admin screens, and data-entry workflows. REC Workflow Recording: Use the compact "rec" mode with Auto or Manual recording. Auto is built for quick flows: change fields and click one final page action to save the shortcut automatically. Manual is built for multi-step workflows: keep recording until Stop, preserve multiple button/link clicks in order, and replay the same sequence later. Smart Action Replay: Trigger cloned items from the panel to reproduce the original behavior. FloatingActions supports standard button clicks, links, form submissions, saved form states, recorded multi-click sequences, and many ASP.NET WebForms postback actions. Custom Keyboard Shortcuts: Assign one physical key to each saved item using the keyboard control next to Rename. New shortcuts distinguish the top-row 1 key (`Digit1`) from the numeric keypad 1 key (`Numpad1`), and also support letters, function keys, arrows, navigation, editing, punctuation, Enter, Space, Escape, and other keys exposed by Chrome. Shortcuts work while the page is active, even when the floating window is closed. Ctrl, Alt, Shift, and Meta combinations are not accepted, and shortcuts stay inactive while you type in an input, textarea, select, or contenteditable field. Legacy shortcut settings continue to work. Rename Shortcuts: Use the small keyboard control to set or change an assignment, or the "r" control to rename saved items with clearer labels for your workflow. Smart Persistence: Your panels, cloned actions, recorded flows, names, sizes, positions, and preferences are saved automatically and are ready the next time you visit the same page. Customizable Appearance: - Light & Dark Themes: Switch between themes for a comfortable viewing experience in any lighting. - Adjustable Transparency: Make the floating window semi-transparent with a single click to easily see the content underneath. - Resizable & Repositionable: The floating window remembers its size and position, restoring it automatically every time you open it. Effortless Data Management: - Centralized Controls: Manage settings from a streamlined popup menu. - Flexible Cleanup: Remove shortcuts from only the current domain or clear saved shortcuts across all websites. - Import/Export/Restore: Back up your configurations to a JSON file, share them across devices, or restore a previous setup with ease. Intelligent & Accessible Design: - Clear English Interface: The extension interface is designed for quick, direct use. - Smart Text Truncation: Long shortcut names are neatly shortened, with the full text visible on hover. - Style Isolation: Built with Shadow DOM so the panel appearance stays isolated from the website's styles. HOW TO USE: 1. Open the Menu: Click the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. 2. Choose Your Mode: Select "Open Side Panel" or "Show/Hide Floating Window." 3. Add a Single Action or Control: Click the "Add Button" icon, then click a page button, link, select, checkbox, radio option, or supported input to save its current action or state. 4. Record a Quick Workflow: Click "rec", choose Auto, change fields, then click the final page action to save automatically. 5. Record a Multi-Step Workflow: Click "rec", choose Manual, change fields and click page actions in sequence, then press Stop to save the full flow. 6. Use Your Shortcut: Click the saved item in the panel, or press its configured physical key while the page is active, to replay the cloned action, restore the saved form state, or run the recorded flow. 7. Manage Your Panel: - Drag the floating window by its header to reposition it. - Click the keyboard control next to a saved item to assign, replace, or remove its shortcut. - Click "r" to rename a saved shortcut. - Click "X" next to any item to remove it. - Use the popup menu to clear shortcuts, manage settings, import/export data, or switch themes. FloatingActions is built for broad compatibility with standard web controls. Some browser-protected actions that require a trusted human gesture may still need to be performed manually.
