Customize the size of YouTube thumbnails, plus a focus mode that pauses the video when your attention leaves it. YouTube Thumbnail Resizer lets you control how large video thumbnails appear across YouTube, helping you fit more content on the screen and browse the way you prefer. It also includes an optional Focus Mode, which pauses the video when your attention moves away from it. Features Home & Subscriptions Choose how many columns appear in the grid. More columns mean smaller thumbnails and more videos visible at once. Suggestions while watching Adjust the thumbnail width in the watch-page sidebar and below the video player. Search results Choose a preset thumbnail size—Small, Medium, or Large—or disable the adjustment. Focus Mode (off by default) Automatically pause the video when you: Switch to another tab; Minimize the browser window; Scroll down to the comments. The video resumes when you return, but the extension never resumes a video that you paused manually. Each trigger can be enabled or disabled separately. Privacy and performance All changes apply instantly, and your settings are saved locally in your browser. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit your data, and it has no access to your YouTube account. Everything runs directly on the YouTube page, using CSS to resize thumbnails and standard browser events to control playback when Focus Mode is enabled.
