Description
Block unwanted YouTube channels from your feed, search, and recommendations instantly. Clean, private, and resilient. Your YouTube feed. Your rules. Block any channel — permanently, privately, instantly. FeedGuard removes videos from channels you never want to see again, across every YouTube surface — home feed, search, sidebar, Shorts, trending, and playlists — with one click and zero data collection. The Problem: YouTube's "Not Interested" Button Doesn't Work You click "Not Interested" on a channel. It comes back tomorrow. You click "Don't Recommend This Channel." It still shows up in search results, in the sidebar while you're watching a video, in the Shorts shelf, in trending. YouTube's own tools are designed to create the illusion of control — not to actually give it to you. Meanwhile your feed fills up with content from channels you actively dislike, clickbait farms you've never subscribed to, and algorithmically pushed creators you've dismissed dozens of times. There's no way to permanently remove a channel from your entire YouTube experience — until now. The Solution: FeedGuard — Permanent YouTube Channel Blocking for Chrome FeedGuard intercepts YouTube's dynamically rendered content and surgically removes video cards from channels you've blocked — across every surface, every session, every time. One click to block. Permanent removal. Total feed control. ✨ Why Users Choose FeedGuard 🚫 One-Click Block — Appears Right on YouTube A Block button appears on hover next to every channel name across YouTube — no need to open any menu or settings panel. See a channel you don't want? Block it in one click, right where you are. An animated 5-second undo toast gives you an instant safety net if you change your mind. 🗺️ Full YouTube Coverage — Every Surface, No Exceptions FeedGuard blocks channels everywhere YouTube shows them: Home feed and rich grid Search results Watch page sidebar Shorts shelf Trending and grid pages Playlist items Right-click context menu on any channel link No surface left uncovered. No blocked channel sneaks back in through a side door. 🔖 Block by Name, Channel ID, or Keyword — Your Choice Block channels by exact name (case-insensitive), by persistent Channel ID (UCxxxxxxxxxx) so the block survives channel renames, or by keyword to catch any channel whose name contains a word or phrase. Three blocking strategies for every situation. 📊 Popup Dashboard — Full Control at a Glance The tab-based popup dashboard gives you complete visibility and control: live stats showing total channels blocked and total videos hidden, a searchable blocklist with one-click unblock, a keyword manager, and settings toggles for animated removal, block button visibility, and Shorts blocking. 📤 Import & Export Your Blocklist as JSON Back up your entire blocklist, share it with a friend, or migrate it to a new device — export and import as a clean JSON file in one click. Your curation is yours to keep. 🔢 Session Badge Counter — See Your Feed Getting Cleaner The extension icon badge shows exactly how many videos have been hidden in your current session. Watch the number grow as FeedGuard quietly cleans your feed in real time. 🛡️ Manifest V3 — Secure, Modern, Future-Proof Built entirely on Chrome's latest MV3 architecture for tighter security, minimal permissions, and long-term compatibility with Chrome's extension platform. 🔒 Privacy-First.
