Description
Rewrites prompts for leading AI chat sites into dense, filler-free shorthand before they send: same meaning, fewer tokens. Malone rewrites outgoing prompts into dense, filler-free language before sending. Write naturally, pick a compression level, and Malone strips wording that costs tokens without adding meaning. Prompt Compression You Control: • Choose from Light, Balanced, Aggressive, Ultra Malone, and Maximum Malone. • Removes politeness, filler, hedging, and unnecessary intensifiers. • Compresses wordy phrases into shorter equivalents. • Stronger levels also drop articles, linking verbs, modals, prepositions, connectors, and determiners. • Preview each level's rewrite in options before choosing. Designed to Preserve Important Content: • Code blocks and inline code stay unchanged. • URLs and email addresses are preserved. • Quoted text and Markdown quote lines remain intact. • Complete JSON and XML prompts are left untouched. • Malone keeps the original message if a rewrite would become empty or unusable. More Control Before and After Sending: • Add a brief send delay for time to select Undo. • Ask the assistant for a shorter, more direct response when the rewrite saves enough room. • Tell the assistant that compressed shorthand is intentional. • Turn Malone off everywhere, or choose which supported sites use it. • Review estimated token savings in the extension options. Works Across Popular AI Chats: Malone supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and more. Supported sites can change as AI chat services update their editors. Private by Design: • Prompt rewriting happens locally in Chrome. • Prompt text and conversation content are never sent to Malone servers. • Preferences and estimated savings are stored locally in Chrome. • Anonymous feature-use analytics never include prompt text or page URLs. • Analytics can be disabled anytime from options. Token counts are estimated at roughly four characters per token. Stronger compression modes can sound clipped and may lose nuance, so choose the level that fits the task.
