Description
Capture screenshots at exact pixel dimensions. Fixed viewfinder — position it, press Enter, done. Presets, smart naming, WebP/PNG. FixedShot lets you capture screenshots at exact, pre-defined pixel dimensions — every time. Drop a fixed-size viewfinder onto any web page, drag it over the content you want, and press Enter. The extension captures precisely what's inside the frame at the dimensions you set. No guessing, no cropping in Photoshop, no "close enough." What's new in v1.2.1 (April 2026) ▎ • Visual resize handle on the viewfinder ▎ • Recent dimensions list in the popup ▎ • Clipboard button is now clipboard-only ▎ • Bug fix: HUD/toast no longer appear in full-page captures BUILT FOR TEAMS PRODUCING CONSISTENT WEB IMAGERY If your team captures dozens or hundreds of screenshots for website pages, documentation, or marketing — and they all need to be the same size — this tool eliminates the manual effort and inconsistency. FixedShot doesn't. We inject our viewfinder only when you explicitly activate it — never in the background, never on pages you haven't asked us to touch. Here's what FixedShot does NOT do: - No data collection of any kind - No browsing history access - No tracking, analytics, or telemetry - No account required, no signup, no login - No network requests — zero internet traffic - No background scripts watching your activity Everything happens locally on your machine. Your screenshots never leave your computer. The only permission we ask for is "Manage your downloads" — because we need to save the file to your Downloads folder. That's it. Read our full privacy policy at https://fixedshot.com/privacy MINIMAL PERMISSIONS Unlike other screenshot extensions, FixedShot requires only one permission: - "Manage your downloads" — to save your captured screenshots No access to your browsing history. No blanket access to all websites. We believe tools should ask for the minimum they need to work — nothing more.
