Turn your speaker notes into a teleprompter. Works with Google Slides, privately on your computer. Turn your Google Slides speaker notes into a teleprompter that follows your presentation. NotesPrompter opens in Google Slides Presenter View and displays the current slide's notes in a clean, dark reading view. Adjust the text, reading target, and scrolling speed to fit your delivery and your teleprompter setup. FREE TO USE All features are included. There is no subscription, paid upgrade, or separate NotesPrompter account. READ AT YOUR PACE • Smooth, adjustable auto-scroll with quick pause and resume. • Move the reading target up or down to align with your camera lens. • Adjust text size and reading width. • See a red end-of-slide notice and choose your own notice color. • Hide the controls while keeping your slide number and scroll status visible. BUILT FOR PRESENTING • Notes update as you change slides in Presenter View. • Type a slide number and press Enter to jump directly to it. • Use arrow keys or Page Up/Page Down to change slides. • Learn custom clicker keys for previous, next, and pause/resume. • Mirror the reading text for reflected teleprompter hardware. • Save hardware profiles for different display and camera setups. • Optionally control scrolling from the audience slideshow for the same deck. GET STARTED 1. Open a presentation in Google Slides. 2. Open the menu beside Slideshow and choose Presenter view. 3. In the Speaker Notes window, click Open NotesPrompter. 4. Adjust your target and speed, then press Space to start scrolling. Keep the audience slideshow on the display or window you share with your audience. NotesPrompter appears in Presenter View. PRIVACY Speaker notes are read and displayed locally. NotesPrompter does not upload or save your speaker notes. Preferences and hardware profiles are saved locally in Chrome, and temporary deck/window identifiers are used to keep presentation controls connected. The extension makes no network requests and includes no analytics or advertising. COMPATIBILITY Designed for Google Slides Presenter View in desktop Chrome. Clicker support depends on the keyboard events your device sends to Chrome. Google Slides requires its own access to your presentation; NotesPrompter does not request Google Drive API access. Future changes to Google's Presenter View may require an extension update.
