Close duplicates, expire idle tabs, cap tabs per window, and keep tabs on pages that matter. TidyTabs is a private, automatic tab manager that keeps tab overload under control without sending your browsing data anywhere. Set the rules that fit how you browse. TidyTabs can close duplicate tabs, limit the number of tabs in each window, and clear tabs you haven't used in a while. Closed and parked tabs remain in a restorable history for as long as you choose, up to 90 days. USE EACH FEATURE ON ITS OWN DUPLICATE TABS When you open a page that's already open, choose which copy to keep, or have TidyTabs quietly close older duplicates. A duplicate closes only while an identical tab remains open. TAB BUDGET Set a tab limit for each window. Extra tabs are parked in a restorable list and can return automatically as room opens. AUTO-CLOSE IDLE TABS Choose how long unused tabs should remain open. See which tabs are due for cleanup before they close, and exclude any sites you want left alone. KEEP IMPORTANT PAGES Right-click a page and choose "Keep tabs on this page." Tabs for that page won't be automatically closed or parked, and the page remains available from your Keep list afterward. BUILT-IN SAFEGUARDS TidyTabs never auto-closes or parks active, pinned, audible, kept, or grouped tabs. Before any feature would immediately close or park tabs, it shows you how many will be affected and asks for confirmation. PRIVATE BY DESIGN TidyTabs runs entirely on your device. It never reads page content, and your tab titles and addresses never leave your browser. Restoring a tab reopens its address; unsaved page state, such as text entered into a form, may not be recoverable.
