Keep WhatsApp Web private in public spaces by blurring the entire page and revealing only the message under your cursor. Tabu - Whatsapp Web Blur helps keep WhatsApp Web private in public spaces by blurring the entire page and revealing only the message under your cursor. 🤫 Opening WhatsApp Web in a public place is always a privacy risk. Whether you are working from a cafe, office, airport, coworking space, classroom, library, or shared screen, your private WhatsApp messages can be visible to anyone nearby. Tabu is a WhatsApp Web privacy extension for Chrome that fixes that problem. ✅ It automatically blurs WhatsApp Web and reveals only the part of the interface you are actively using. Hover a message, chat row, composer, context menu, or reaction bar, and Tabu makes that area readable while the rest of WhatsApp Web stays hidden. Use WhatsApp Web in public without exposing your inbox, chat list, message history, contacts, previews, or private conversations. 🤔 What Tabu Helps With ->. - Blur WhatsApp Web automatically - Hide WhatsApp messages in public places - Keep your WhatsApp chat list private - Reveal only the hovered message or active control - Use WhatsApp Web at work, cafes, airports, coworkings, and shared spaces - Keep reactions, menus, and the message composer usable - Add a privacy layer without changing how WhatsApp Web works 🫂 Why We Built Tabu -> We tried many WhatsApp blur extensions, but none of them felt simple enough. Some had too many settings. Some felt clunky. Some broke the visual flow of WhatsApp Web. Others did the job, but never felt smooth, beautiful, or truly integrated with the WhatsApp interface. Tabu is designed to be the WhatsApp Web blur extension that just works. No complicated setup. No noisy dashboard. No unnecessary features. Just a clean privacy layer that feels fast, smooth, and natural inside WhatsApp Web. 🔓 Privacy -> Tabu does not read, collect, store, or send your WhatsApp messages. The extension runs locally in your browser and only applies a visual blur layer on top of WhatsApp Web. If you use WhatsApp Web in public, Tabu helps keep your conversations private.
