Description
This extension relocates Google Sheets tabs from the bottom to the top of the interface. Move Tabs for Google Sheets™ is a simple yet transformative Chrome extension that repositions your sheet tabs from the bottom of the interface to the top—right where your eyes naturally go. Inspired by the familiar layout of browser tabs, this enhancement brings a more intuitive and ergonomic experience to navigating multi-sheet documents. Whether you're managing complex datasets or jumping between sheets during a presentation, this extension makes your workflow smoother and more visually aligned with modern UI expectations. Tabs Where They Belong By default, Google Sheets places tabs at the bottom of the screen, which can feel disconnected from the rest of the interface—especially when working on large monitors or in fullscreen mode. Move Tabs for Google Sheets™ flips that convention, placing tabs at the top for faster access and better visibility. The result is a cleaner, more natural layout that mirrors the way we interact with browser tabs, IDEs, and other productivity tools. Works Seamlessly in All Modes Whether you're editing a spreadsheet or viewing it in read-only mode, the extension works flawlessly. It integrates directly into the Google Sheets UI without interfering with any native functionality. You can still rename, reorder, color-code, and duplicate tabs—just with a more intuitive placement. The extension is lightweight and efficient, ensuring zero performance impact even on large, multi-tab spreadsheets.
