A visible countdown timer overlay for screen sharing during meetings Keep your meetings on track with a visible countdown timer that stays with you during screen shares. What is Time Share? Time Share is a simple yet powerful browser extension designed to help you manage time during online meetings and screen sharing sessions. Whether you're running remote stand-ups, refinements, or collaborative sessions, Time Share keeps everyone aware of the time with a persistent timer overlay that remains visible even when you're sharing your screen. Why Time Share? We've all been there: discussions running overtime, stories taking longer than planned, and no easy way to keep track of time during screen shares. Opening a separate timer website means juggling extra tabs, and browser-based timers disappear the moment you switch to your presentation or Jira board. Time Share solves this by placing a customizable timer directly on your screen that stays visible across all your tabs and applications. Features ✨ Quick Timer Control - Start, stop, and pause with ease - Instant presets for 5, 10, and 15-minute sessions - Custom time input for any duration you need ⏰ Visual Alerts - Clear visual alarm when time runs out (flashing red indicator) - Impossible to miss, even during intense discussions 🎨 Fully Customizable - Choose between Small, Medium, or Large display sizes - Adjustable positioning to keep it out of your way 💾 Smart Memory - Remembers your last settings automatically - Picks up right where you left off in your next session Perfect For - Remote team meetings and stand-ups - Sprint refinements and planning sessions - Timeboxed discussions and presentations - Any situation where you need to keep track of time while sharing your screen 🔄 Important: First-Time Setup After installing Time Share, please reload any open tabs where you want to use the timer. The extension injects the timer overlay into pages when they load, so: - Newly opened tabs will show a running timer automatically - Previously opened tabs need to be reloaded to display the timer - Simply hit F5 or click the reload button on existing tabs to enable Time Share How to Use 1. Click the Time Share icon in your browser toolbar 2. Set your desired time using presets or custom input 3. Click Start and share your screen 4. Your timer stays visible across all tabs and applications 5. When time's up, you'll get a clear visual alert That's it! Time Share runs quietly in the background, keeping you and your team on schedule without any fuss. Time Share - Because every minute counts.
