ReproSnap creates clear, reproducible web application bug reports directly in your browser. Start a diagnostic session, reproduce the problem, and generate a self-contained report with the technical context needed by a developer, tester, support specialist, or AI coding assistant. WHAT REPROSNAP CAPTURES • Meaningful user actions leading to the issue • Failed network requests and HTTP errors • Sanitized request and response details • Browser console errors • Detected server error pages, including common HTTP 5xx and ASP.NET Core startup failures • Screenshots of the affected page • Optional short GIF recording of the visible tab without audio • Browser and environment information • A synchronized timeline connecting actions, requests, errors, screenshots, and the recording SIMPLE LOCAL AUDIT / MONITOR ReproSnap can also periodically check selected websites and subpages directly from your browser. You can: • Add multiple websites • Add multiple pages for each website • Run a manual “Test now” check • Schedule checks approximately every 5, 10, or 15 minutes • Verify HTTP status codes and response times • Detect common server errors such as 500, 500.30, 502, and 503 • Check whether required text is present • Check whether forbidden text appears • Validate a simple value in a JSON response • Review a local history of previous checks • Automatically retry a failed check • Detect when a website starts working again • Generate a local HTML audit report after a confirmed failure Audit checks run locally while Chrome and the user profile are active. Checks may be delayed when the browser or computer is suspended. ReproSnap Audit is not a server-side 24/7 monitoring service. Audit requests do not use your signed-in browser session or cookies. Pages requiring authentication may return a login page, 401, or 403 response. LOCAL EXPORTS Review the captured information and export the report locally as: • Lightweight HTML • Maximum-quality HTML • JSON • ZIP with separate screenshots, GIF recording, report data, and an AI-ready prompt Audit failure reports can also be opened and downloaded locally as standalone HTML files. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Report and audit data is processed and stored locally in your browser. ReproSnap does not automatically upload captured report contents or audit results to ReproSnap servers. Sensitive text values such as passwords, authorization tokens, cookies, device identifiers, and email addresses are automatically redacted where supported. Screenshots and GIF recordings may still contain visible personal or sensitive information. ReproSnap clearly marks these materials for review and allows screenshots to be edited or blurred before sharing.
