WHY SERPSHOT SERPshot solves the problem every SEO and PPC professional knows: needing verifiable, time-stamped evidence of how a SERP looked on a specific date, for a specific query, with the right device profile and location. Manual screenshots are slow, inconsistent, and easy to lose. SERPshot makes the process pixel-perfect and repeatable, on both Google and Bing, desktop and mobile. KEY FEATURES Full-page screenshots • Google and Bing SERPs, desktop and mobile, native resolution • Scrolls and stitches like GoFullPage so every result appears, even when continuous-scroll loads additional content • Captures AI Overview, Top Stories, Videos, ads, People Also Ask, Featured Snippets, and knowledge panels Rank tracking and brand analytics • Every captured SERP is parsed automatically • Records your tracked brand positions up to p20 • Detects brand mentions in organic results, ads, AI Overview body, Top Stories headlines, and any other SERP feature • Word-boundary matching so "Fortis Media" matches "Fortis Media" but not "Fortis Healthcare" Bulk queue runner • Paste a list of queries, hit Run Queue, walk away • Configurable delay with jitter to avoid CAPTCHA challenges • Service-worker keep-alive: queue keeps running while you work in other windows • Resume from where you left off if interrupted • Save query lists for re-use, run multiple lists in sequence Multi-brand management • Define multiple brands or clients side by side • Each brand has its own optional domain list and brand-name list • Mark which brands are active in the popup multi-select • Filename uses the active brand as the {client} token CSV export • Long format: one row per position (best for pivot tables) • Wide format: one row per capture with p1, p2, p3 columns • Partial-capture flag filters out low-confidence captures • Records query, device, engine, country, positions, brand mentions, timestamp Smart filenames • Default template: google - desktop - best seo agency - 2026-05-19 6.30 pm.jpg • Placeholder tokens: {engine}, {device}, {query}, {client}, {date}, {time}, {timezone}, {rank}, {rankDomain} • File-system-safe sanitisation • IANA timezone formatting so global teams stay consistent Smart triggers • Auto-capture every SERP, or only when a tracked brand appears • Hotkey: Alt+Shift+S • Popup button for one-off captures • Position badges appear inline on the SERP and optionally in the screenshot Mobile capture • iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 13 Mini, Pixel 8, Galaxy S23, iPad Mini presets • Device emulation via Chrome's debugger API • Mobile screenshot saved alongside desktop Multi-language SERP feature detection • People Also Ask, Top Stories, Videos, Images, AI Overview, "What people are saying", Discussions and Forums • Recognised in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Dutch, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese MULTI-ENGINE SUPPORT • Google: full feature parity including AI Overview, Top Stories, PAA, Videos, Images, "What people are saying", Discussions and Forums, knowledge panels • Bing: organic results, sponsored ads, Copilot AI answers, news carousels, People Also Ask, videos, related searches, knowledge panels • Engine detection is automatic. The extension recognises Google or Bing and uses the right parser. • Queue runner targets either engine: pick Google or Bing in Settings and the URL is constructed with the right locale parameters automatically.
