Description
Enforce your cookie consent preferences by interacting with consent banners. Does not bypass consent or modify cookies. Set your cookie preference once. Reject non‑essential cookies or accept all and CookieControl automatically clicks the right option on cookie banners across the web. Works on most sites and languages, so you don’t have to click “Accept” or “Reject” on every popup. Features: Choose a global preference: reject non‑essential / essential‑only cookies, or accept all. Works across hundreds of sites and consent management platforms. Supports multiple languages and banner layouts. See recent consent actions per site. Re‑apply consent from the popup anytime. Free, no account needed. Why use CookieControl? Cookie popups appear on almost every site. CookieControl lets you enforce your privacy choice automatically—whether you prefer minimal tracking (reject non‑essential) or want a smoother browsing experience (accept all). The extension does not bypass consent or modify cookies; it simply clicks the option you choose. Privacy No analytics or tracking. Your preference is stored locally in your browser. Pro features: 1. Pick exactly what you allow (Category-based consent) Instead of only “essential only” or “accept all,” you choose which cookie types to allow by default: Essential: always on (needed for the site to work) Functional: e.g. language, preferences Analytics: usage stats Marketing: ads, tracking Example: “Only useful ones, no ads” = Essential + Functional + Analytics, with Marketing off. 2. Different rules per website You can override your default for individual sites. For example: “Accept all” on your favourite shop “Essential only” everywhere else Free only remembers the last action per site; Pro lets you set explicit rules per domain. 3. See what you chose before (Consent history) A log of your consent choices per site in the popup: where you used “reject” vs “accept,” when, and which CMP was used. Free records actions but doesn’t show this history. 4. Handle tricky popups (Dark-pattern navigation) Some sites hide “Reject” or “Manage” in confusing layouts. Pro helps you reach the real options (e.g. open the right screen or tab) instead of leaving you stuck on accept-only flows. 5. Works on more sites (Extended CMP coverage) More cookie banners and consent managers are supported. Your rules take priority over the site’s default behaviour. 6. Other Pro benefits Auto re-consent on policy change — If a site updates its cookie policy, Pro can re-apply your choices. Priority rule execution — Your rules are applied before other logic, so your preferences are enforced more reliably.
