Description
Instantly see the reading and PDF status of Zotero library papers while browsing Google Scholar. Google Scholar-Zotero Library Checker integrates your Google Scholar search results with your personal Zotero reference manager database. As you browse academic literature, the extension automatically cross-references search listings against your library in real time, inserting clear, color-coded badges directly into the search results page. This tool eliminates manual cross-referencing and duplicate downloads by providing instant visibility into your existing research collection. Key Features: - Library Verification: Instantly matches article titles on Google Scholar with items saved in your Zotero database. - Status Tracking: Displays color-coded badges reflecting your custom Zotero collection tags (e.g., Need to Read, Reading, Read). - PDF Tracking: Visually flags whether a matching publication contains an attached PDF file within your library. Privacy and Security: This extension operates entirely client-side. Your personal Zotero UserID and Secret API Key are securely stored locally on your device via chrome.storage.local. No data is tracked, collected, or transmitted to third-party servers; all API queries travel directly from your browser to the official Zotero Web API. Streamline your academic research, literature reviews, and citation workflows by knowing exactly what is in your library at a single glance.
