Description
Boost browser tab volume up to 600% in Chrome. Free sound amplifier for YouTube, music, podcasts and video when 100% is too quiet. Yellow Volume Booster is a free Chrome extension that amplifies audio from the active browser tab when the built-in volume is not loud enough. Boost tab sound beyond 100% - up to 600% - for YouTube, Spotify, podcasts, streaming video, online courses, and any website that plays audio in your browser. Unlike system-wide volume controls, Yellow Volume Booster works on the current tab only. You get precise control with a simple slider, plus and minus buttons, and a list of tabs that are currently playing sound. KEY FEATURES • Boost tab audio from 0% to 600% (6× louder than normal) • Per-tab volume - each tab remembers its own level • Works on YouTube, music players, video sites, and web apps • See which tabs are playing audio and switch between them quickly • Reload the current tab from the popup if audio stops responding • Clean yellow-and-blue interface - fast and easy to use • No account required, no subscription, no ads HOW TO USE 1. Pin Yellow Volume Booster to the Chrome toolbar 2. Open any tab with music or video and start playback 3. Click the extension icon and move the volume slider 4. Adjust gradually - start at 100% and increase only as needed WHO IS IT FOR? • Laptop users with quiet built-in speakers • People watching YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, or other streaming sites • Students listening to lectures and online courses • Anyone who needs louder browser audio without changing system settings IMPORTANT NOTES • This extension boosts audio inside the browser tab only - not your operating system volume • Very high levels may cause distortion on small speakers; increase volume step by step • Audio processing runs locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to external servers • Yellow Volume Booster requires your action (opening the popup and adjusting the slider) before any tab audio is processed PRIVACY Yellow Volume Booster does not collect, sell, or share personal data. Volume levels are stored locally on your device using Chrome storage. For full details, see our privacy policy.
