Description
Open a file and rotate PDF pages right in the browser: a pdf rotator that fixes sideways scans and saves the corrected copy. Every scan that lands sideways costs the same two minutes: open a heavy editor, hunt through menus, export again. This extension does one job instead — it lets you rotate PDF pages right in the browser and save the corrected copy straight to your computer. 🔄 Drop a file into the window and every page shows up as a thumbnail. Rotate a single page, rotate a selection, or rotate all pages in pdf order at once, then download the result. You can rotate pages in pdf exports from any app, not only in scans. Your document never leaves your machine. How it works: 1. Open the extension and pick a file from your computer. 2. Click the arrows to rotate pdf pages left, right or by 180 degrees. 3. Press Save and the rotated pdf document lands in your downloads folder. Who keeps needing this: ➤ Anyone whose document scanner feeds sheets in the wrong direction ➤ Students who photograph lecture handouts and get a sideways stack ➤ Accountants filing receipts that arrived as one upside-down scan ➤ Lawyers preparing exhibits where every page must face the same way ➤ Support teams forwarding a scanned document that nobody can read Three ways to rotate a pdf, depending on how bad the scan is: 1️⃣ One page at a time — click the arrow under any thumbnail. 2️⃣ A selection — tick the ones that came out wrong and turn them together. 3️⃣ The whole document — one click sets the page orientation for the lot. 🔒 Everything runs locally. The extension has no server, no account and no upload step, so a payslip or a medical form stays on your disk while you work. That is the difference between this pdf rotator and web services that ask you to hand the document over first. Angles that actually get used: - 90 degrees clockwise, for sheets fed into the tray the wrong way round - 90 degrees counter-clockwise, the usual fix for a landscape to portrait mix-up - 180 degrees, for the sheet somebody put in upside down - A mix of all three inside one file, page by page 📌 The rotation is written into the file itself, not into a viewer setting. Send the result to a colleague and it opens the same way on their screen — which is exactly what people mean when they search for rotate pdf and save rather than a temporary preview button. Details that save a second pass: ▸ Thumbnails are large enough to read the number in the corner before you turn it ▸ The original stays untouched — you always download a new copy ▸ Page size, text and links survive the rotation, so nothing needs a redo ▸ Documents with hundreds of pages open without freezing the tab ▸ Every pdf page rotate control sits under its own thumbnail ▸ Portrait to landscape and back is the same single click Common questions: ❓ How to rotate pdf files without desktop software? Open the extension, load the scan, click the arrows and save. That is the whole flow, offline. ❓ Does it work as a pdf rotate online tool? It runs inside your browser tab, except the document is processed on your own computer. ❓ Can I rotate pdf document files one sheet at a time? Yes. Every sheet has its own control, so pdf page rotation differs from one to the next. ❓ Will it deskew a scan that is tilted by two degrees? No. Rotation here works in clean 90-degree steps; a small tilt is a job for a scanning app. ❓ Can it produce a mirror image of a sheet? No, and that is deliberate — mirroring changes the content, while turning a sheet does not. ❓ Does it merge pdf files or compress pdf documents? No. Merging is a different job for a different tool. The same goes when you need to split pdf files, crop pdf margins or sign pdf forms — this one only rotates sheets. ❓ What happens to a scan I already edited in a document editor? Load it and rotate the sheets as usual — the extension reads the saved version like any reader. ❓ Is there a size limit? No. A two-sheet letter and a 400-sheet manual go through the same way. 💡 A note on habits: most people only need pdf rotate pages once a week, right after a scan. Keeping a full editor installed for that is like owning a truck to carry one box. Pin this extension instead and get back to work in ten seconds. An image rotator will not help here, and a page setup dialog only changes how a sheet prints, not how it is stored. Rotating it inside the document is a different job, and the only one this extension does. 📍 Works with everyday files that open without a password: exports from Word and Google Docs, invoices from accounting systems, forms from government sites and phone scans. Install the extension, open the file that has been bothering you, click twice and save it the right way up. Rotate pdf online or offline — the tab does not care, and neither does your document. ✅
