HOW IT WORKS - Sign up at important-app.com and connect your Gmail account - Mark senders as important by exact address or entire domain - Add keywords to watch for in subject lines - The Chrome extension notifies you when a match arrives FILTER RULES - Always notify: get alerted for every email from a sender, regardless of subject - Keyword required: only notify when a specific keyword appears in the subject line - Ignore keywords: suppress alerts for subjects containing certain words, even from important senders - Domain matching: mark @domain.com to catch any sender from that domain - Matched alerts are saved for 7 days so you can review them later, even after dismissing the notification. PRIVACY - Important! only accesses Gmail metadata -- sender, subject line, and date. It never reads the body of your emails, and it cannot send, modify, or delete email.
