Capture screenshots and screen recordings, annotate them, and save to your computer. ScreenZone is a Chrome extension for capturing webpage screenshots and tab recordings, adding simple annotations, and saving the files to your computer. What you can do • Take a screenshot of the active tab • Annotate with pen, arrow, rectangle, text, and blur • Record the active tab with a countdown and on-screen timer • Download PNG screenshots and WebM recordings to your Downloads folder • Keep a local history of recent captures in the extension popup • Use free limits for screenshots and recordings, or upgrade to Pro for higher limits • Optional Pro branding mark on screenshot downloads How setup works Install ScreenZone from the Chrome Web Store. Pin the extension to your toolbar. Open a normal webpage (not a chrome:// page). Open the popup and choose Screenshot or Record. Typical setup time: about 1 minute. What you need • Google Chrome (Manifest V3) • A normal webpage to capture (Chrome system pages cannot be captured) • No account is required for free use • Optional paid Pro upgrade is processed by Dodo Payments; subscription status is checked through Supabase Notes • Captured media is saved to your computer. The extension stores local history and settings in Chrome storage on your device. • Pro status is checked with your anonymous device ID against a subscriptions backend. Payment is handled by Dodo Payments. • ScreenZone does not auto-post, auto-share, or take actions without you starting a capture. • Free plan limits apply (for example screenshot and recording caps, shorter recording length, and lower recording quality). Pro unlocks higher limits for a limited period after payment.
