Compress, resize and convert images in bulk — JPG, PNG, WebP. Runs in your own browser: no upload, no watermark, no limits. You needed the photo under 2 MB to attach it, so you searched for an image compressor, uploaded your picture to a website you had never heard of, waited, downloaded it back, and did that eleven more times for the rest of the folder. Shrinkly is the same job without the upload. It is a Chrome extension, it runs on your own machine, and it will do two hundred images while you read this. ★ COMPRESS Drop a folder in and every image comes back smaller — usually 60–80% smaller at quality 80, with no visible difference on screen. Or work the other way round: tell Shrinkly "200 KB" and it finds the quality that lands just under it, for every image, one at a time. ★ RESIZE Limit the longest side to 1920px. Scale everything to 50%. Fit inside a box, or crop to an exact size for a square post, a story, a social preview card or an avatar. Downscaling is done in steps, so text in a screenshot stays sharp instead of turning into mush the way a single-shot resize leaves it. ★ CONVERT Save a photo in a lighter web format, or turn a web image back into something your old software will open. Shrinkly opens the common image formats Chrome can read and writes the three that matter on the web. When you export to a format with no transparency, the transparent parts are flattened onto a colour you choose, so a logo never comes out on a black background. ★ NOTHING IS UPLOADED No account. No sign-in. No file-size cap, no daily limit, no watermark, no "go Pro to download all". Shrinkly asks for exactly one permission — storage, for your own settings — and has no access to any website you visit. Turn your Wi-Fi off and it still works, because the compression is done by the image engine already built into Chrome. ★ IT WILL NOT MAKE YOUR FILES WORSE If re-encoding an image would produce a bigger file than the one you started with — which happens with screenshots and with photos your camera already squeezed — Shrinkly keeps the original and tells you so. It does not upscale a small image into a blurry bigger one unless you explicitly ask. And a file it cannot read gets a reason, not a spinner. ★ BUILT FOR A FOLDER, NOT A FILE Up to 200 images at a time, processed several at once, each with its own progress. Download them one by one, or take the whole batch as a single ZIP. Name the output how you like: {name}, {w}x{h}, {index}, {format}. ★ IN YOUR LANGUAGE The interface is translated into 18 languages and follows whichever one Chrome is set to, right-to-left layout included. Free, and free of the things that usually come with free.
