Highlights LinkedIn jobs in green (UK visa sponsor) or red (not on the register), using official UK Home Office register Tired of applying to jobs only to find out the company doesn't sponsor visas? UK Visa Sponsor Checker automatically checks every LinkedIn job listing against the official UK Home Office Register of Licensed Sponsors, right on the page. HOW IT WORKS ─────────────── ✅ "✓ UK Visa Sponsor" — the employer matches an organisation on the official register ❌ "✗ Not on sponsor" — no matching organisation was found Badges appear automatically next to company names across LinkedIn job search results, the job details pane, and recommended job listings. SPONSOR SEARCH ─────────────── Click the extension icon any time to search the full register directly — no need to be on LinkedIn. Just type a company name and instantly see if it's a licensed sponsor. HOW TO INSTALL ─────────────── 1. Click "Add to Chrome" 2. Go to linkedin.com/jobs and refresh the page once (badges appear automatically after that) 3. If badges don't show up immediately on a page, refresh — LinkedIn loads jobs dynamically and an occasional refresh helps the extension catch up DATA & PRIVACY ─────────────── - No account needed, nothing to sign up for - The sponsor register (125,000+ organisations) is downloaded directly from GOV.UK and stored locally on your device only - Refreshes automatically every 24 hours, or manually any time from the popup - No data is collected, tracked, or transmitted — your LinkedIn activity is never read or stored - Network requests are made only to GOV.UK (to fetch the register) IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ ─────────────── Name matching is approximate. LinkedIn shows a company's display name (e.g. "Google"), while the register lists legal entity names (e.g. "Google UK Limited"). The extension strips common suffixes (Ltd, Limited, PLC, LLC, Group, etc.) to bridge this gap, but mismatches can happen — especially for: - Companies with generic or shared names - Recruitment agencies posting on behalf of another employer - Companies that recently gained or lost their sponsor licence This is a convenience tool, not legal or immigration advice. Always verify directly with the employer before making decisions, and check the live register yourself if it matters: gov.uk/government/publications/register-of-licensed-sponsors-workers OPEN SOURCE ─────────────── This extension is fully open source.
