Read articles cleanly, get an AI summary, and save what's worth keeping, all without leaving your tab. smry turns the page you're reading into something you can actually finish: a clean reader view, an AI summary, and a quick way to save it for later. What it does - One-click reader view for the current page — no popups, trackers, or layout junk competing with the article. - Optional "Open with summary" action that opens smry with the summary expanded. - Select text on almost any webpage and save the quote directly to your smry highlights, with a subtle confirmation sound when the save is complete. - A small "Get Video Insights" button on YouTube watch pages that opens the video in smry's transcript reader. - Right-click any link to open it in smry instead of loading the original noisy page. - Save the current page to your local smry queue for later reading. - Automatically mirror new and historical X bookmarks into your signed-in smry Library, with a paced background import that pauses while you use X. - Local recent-link history so you can jump back to what you just opened or saved. What it doesn't do - No general background page tracking, and no floating button on the sites you browse. When X bookmark sync is enabled, smry observes only X's bookmark create and bookmark-list requests. Chrome loads a small local Save highlight control on webpages, which reads only text you actively select so it can offer the action; nothing is sent until you click. The only injected button lives on YouTube watch pages. - No remote scripts. All UI code ships inside the extension package. - No accounts required to read or summarize.
