Capture highlights while reading, without breaking your flow. Flow Notes saves passages you highlight while reading into notes you own, and reorganises them with AI when you choose — never while you're reading. CAPTURE WITHOUT BREAKING YOUR FLOW Highlight a sentence on any page and a small popup appears in place. Pick a note, save, keep reading. No AI runs at that moment, because nothing should slow down the part where you're actually reading. ORGANISE LATER, WHEN YOU WANT TO Two actions, whenever you're ready: • Organise — groups your excerpts into sections, formats code, quotations and links, applies emphasis. Your wording is kept. • Summarise — everything above, then fills the gaps: defines the jargon, explains the concepts an excerpt only name-drops, and restores the context it assumed. So re-reading it in a month needs nothing looked up. YOUR NOTES STAY YOURS Each note lives somewhere you own, and you choose where: • Google Docs in your own Drive • Apple Notes on your Mac • Markdown files in a folder on your machine Every captured passage keeps a [source] link back to the page it came from, so you never lose track of where an idea originated. NOTHING YOU CAPTURE IS STORED ON OUR SERVER The text of your highlights, the pages you read them on, and the contents of your notes are never kept. They exist only in your own Doc, Apple note or file. Our server holds an index — which notes exist, what they're called, and where their content lives — and nothing else. Google Drive access uses the drive.file scope only: Flow Notes can see documents it created itself, never the rest of your Drive. OPTIONAL LOCAL HELPER Google Docs notes work with nothing installed. Apple Notes and local Markdown files are written by a small open-source program on your own machine, since a browser extension can't reach your filesystem.
