Type-to-search for long dropdowns in the AWS console. Find CloudFront cache, origin request and response headers policies fast. Adds a search box to long dropdown menus in the AWS web console. The CloudFront console has no way to search Cache Policies, Origin Request Policies or Response Headers Policies in the Edit behavior screen. With more than a handful of policies, finding the right one means scrolling a very long list. This extension fixes that. How it works: - Open any long dropdown (5 or more options) and a search box appears at the top, already focused - Just start typing: matching is case-insensitive and searches both the option name and its description - Multiple words act as an AND filter (e.g. "prod nocache" matches PROD-...-NOCACHE) - A counter shows matches/total - Enter selects the highlighted option, arrow keys move the highlight - Escape clears the search, Escape again closes the dropdown Works on every Cloudscape select dropdown across the AWS console: CloudFront policy selects, origin selects, function associations, and long dropdowns in other AWS services too. Privacy: runs only on console.aws.amazon.com pages, needs no special permissions, collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
