Tracks commitments you make in sent Gmail emails using AI, extracts due dates, and reminds you until they’re done. AI Email Reminder – Never Forget a Follow-Up Again Email is where commitments are made — and where they’re most often forgotten. AI Email Reminder quietly watches the emails you send in Gmail, detects when you promise to do something, figures out when it needs to happen, and reminds you until it’s done. No manual task entry. No new workflow. No clutter. If you’ve ever sent an email like: “Let’s follow up next week” “I’ll send this over tomorrow” “Let’s lock this in next month” “I’ll get back to you on this” …and then forgot — this extension is for you. What It Does 🔍 Detects commitments automatically When you send an email in Gmail, AI Email Reminder looks for real commitments and next steps, not just keywords like “follow up.” It understands intent such as: Making plans Promising to send something Agreeing to revisit a topic later Scheduling future action Only emails that actually contain a responsibility are saved — everything else is ignored. 📅 Extracts a real due date Instead of generic reminders, the extension uses AI to determine when the task is due based on the language in your email. Examples: “in a month” → due one month from today “next week” → due next week “tomorrow” → due tomorrow If a due date can’t be confidently inferred, a sensible default is used — and you can always adjust it. 🗓️ Edit due dates instantly Every reminder includes a simple calendar picker. Click a new date → it saves immediately No “Set” button No fighting the UI You’re always in control. 🔔 Smart reminders that don’t spam you You’ll get system notifications reminding you when something is due or overdue. Each reminder: Is written in plain language (“You said you’d do this 3 days ago.”) Can repeat at an interval you choose Stops automatically when the task is marked done No nagging for things you’ve already handled. 📬 One-click open to the exact email Click Open on any reminder and you’ll be taken directly to the exact Gmail thread where the commitment was made — not a generic inbox search. That means: No hunting No guessing which email it was Immediate context ✅ Mark things done and move on Once a task is completed: Mark it done Notifications stop The item is archived Simple.
