Select text on a page and refine how it reads—more formal, gentler, or shorter—using Chrome’s built-in model on your computer. ## Detailed description TextCure helps you tidy up wording before you send a message or email. Highlight text on a webpage, open TextCure from the right-click menu or the toolbar, choose a tone, and review the result next to your original. You can keep a more formal tone, soften the wording, or shorten it. Copy the result anytime. Replacing text in place only works when the selection came from an editable field. History stays on your computer so you can look back at earlier edits and export them if you need a backup. You may optionally sync a short recent history through your Chrome account; that option stays off until you turn it on. If you often reuse short lines, TextCure can keep a small personal list near input fields—also optional and easy to switch off. The editing step runs with the model Chrome already provides on the device. TextCure does not send your draft to TextCure’s own servers. Results vary by language and by what the local model supports; a first-time model download may be required in Model Manager. Desktop Chrome is recommended.
