Adds graphical abstract previews to ACS and RSC article lists and search results. See graphical abstracts while browsing ACS and RSC publications without opening every article page. TOC Preview adds the publisher-provided graphical abstract or TOC image beside articles on supported latest-article, issue, and search-result pages. It helps researchers compare papers and identify relevant work more efficiently. Features • Supports ACS Publications and Royal Society of Chemistry pages • Works on latest-article, issue, and search-result pages • Loads visible articles first and prefetches upcoming previews • Uses a local cache to reduce repeated publisher requests • Adapts article and preview layouts to different screen sizes • Provides a simple toolbar switch to enable or disable previews • Displays Chinese for Chinese browser UI languages and English for all other languages • Leaves publisher-provided native TOC images unchanged Privacy TOC Preview has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remotely executed code. It processes supported page URLs and article metadata only to locate and display graphical abstracts. Settings and preview cache entries are stored locally in Chrome. Network requests are limited to the ACS or RSC page being viewed and their Silverchair image delivery hosts. No information is sent to the extension developer or a developer-controlled server. TOC Preview is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by the American Chemical Society or the Royal Society of Chemistry.
