LaTeX Formatter for Overleaf fixes the formatting and compile errors that show up right before a submission deadline without ever leaving your browser tab. How it works Open any Overleaf project, click the extension icon, and sign in. The extension reads your project, runs it through the formatting engine, and presents a per-file diff of every proposed change. You review, select which files to update, and confirm. Nothing is written to your project until you approve it. What gets fixed Formatting issues: figures wider than the column, tables that overflow the layout, risky float placement that pushes content to the wrong page, and deprecated equation syntax. Compile errors: missing package declarations, unbalanced braces, mismatched environments, undefined references, and duplicate definitions. An AI-assisted pass handles any errors the deterministic checks can't resolve automatically. Citations: your bibliography is checked against CrossRef to flag broken or unverifiable DOIs. Journal compliance: the extension can verify your document against submission guidelines for major academic venues, checking page limits, bibliography style, required sections, and double-blind anonymity rules. You stay in control Every fix is shown as a readable diff before anything changes. You can accept all files or pick individual ones. Overleaf's version history lets you undo at any time.
