Most sites only support Picture-in-Picture for their own video player, and many (PDFs, articles, dashboards, anything without a native video element) don't support it at all. Universal MiniPlayer works around that by capturing the entire tab and playing it back in a real, always-on-top Picture-in-Picture window — so you can keep watching, reading, or monitoring a tab while you work in other windows. You can also capture just part of a tab. If you only care about one widget, video player, or section of a page, drag-select that region and only the cropped area floats in the Picture-in-Picture window. How to use it: Open the tab you want to float. Click the Universal MiniPlayer icon. Choose "Capture Full Tab" to float the whole tab, or "Capture Cropped Area" to drag-select just the part you want. The selection pops into a floating Picture-in-Picture window you can resize and position anywhere on screen. Universal MiniPlayer captures tab content entirely on your device. It collects no data, makes no network requests, and has no analytics — see the privacy policy for details.
