Screen recorder that saves recordings to your own Google Drive and copies a share link. Open source, no subscription, no telemetry. Plume is a screen recorder that saves every recording straight to your Google Drive. Press record. Pick a screen, window, or tab. Stop when done. Plume uploads the recording to your Drive in the background and copies the share link to your clipboard. Paste it anywhere (chat, email, a doc) and the recipient clicks once to watch. Every user gets their own subfolder under a shared Drive parent, so recordings stay organised without any manual filing. Browse past videos any time from the "my recordings" view inside the popup. Plume is open source and exists because paid hosted screen-recording services keep getting more expensive per seat. You bring your own Google Drive. No subscription, no per-seat pricing, no separate cloud to pay for. If you already have a Google account, you already have what you need. Privacy and security: • Plume requests only the drive.file Google Drive scope. It can read and write the files it creates and nothing else. It cannot see the rest of your Drive. • No third-party servers. The extension talks directly to Google's APIs. • No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking. • All recording happens on your machine.
